La Biennale di Venezia has announced the line-up for the Venice Classics section of the 83rd Venice International Film Festival. This year’s programme will present 19 restored film classics from film archives, cultural institutions, and production companies around the world. The selection includes Ernst Lubitsch’s To Be or Not to Be (1942), Roberto Rossellini’s Journey to Italy (1953), and John Cassavetes’ Minnie and Moskowitz (1971). From Hong Kong, Ann Hui’s The Story of Woo Viet (1981) has also been selected for this year’s programme. Click here for details.
